The role is a chance to make an impact on a course with a unique approach that considers the designed object’s influence on social interaction and purpose within an ethical and responsible design context. You will have experience of course administration, pedagogic innovation, assessment processes and procedures. You will bring excellent organisational and communication skills to the Year Leader role.
The course has a broad approach to Product and Furniture design education, and you will be expected to have experience of working in interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary practices and knowledge of subject-related design software. We are interested in candidates with subject expertise and a specialism in one or more of the following: inclusive and social design, circular design, digital practices / emerging technologies, design for health and wellbeing or public engagement. This course has a track record of delivering dynamic Knowledge Exchange and live projects with diverse partners. In this role, you will lead and contribute to new developments in this area.
