Job description

The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to take up a senior role within a world-leading Creative Arts University as Head of Student Marketing and Recruitment (CCW). This role will lead recruitment and marketing activity across three of the University of the Arts London (UAL) Colleges – Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon (CCW), to deliver the successful recruitment of both home and international students to art, design and performance courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

As Head of Student Marketing and Recruitment for Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon colleges, you will facilitate a joined-up and strategic approach to CCW’s student marketing and recruitment function; leading, implementing and developing an annual strategy that will deliver engaging marketing events, campaigns and activities, as well as ensuring all recruitment activity (selection processes, interviews, offer making etc.) runs smoothly and within set timescales to ensure college student recruitment intake targets, from both home and overseas, are met on an annual basis.

Working closely with key college stakeholders and UAL’s Student, Marketing and Recruitment team, you will monitor and report progress, whilst evaluating the impact of our current strategy. You will utilise key data to inform future strategies that best fit the selection process for each course within our portfolio, identifying and addressing any shortcomings or barriers in the admissions process.

Your work will help to ensure a smooth applicant journey from application to selection, streamlining a process that will benefit future students who wish to study at UAL.

About you

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will possess significant senior student marketing and recruitment experience within a higher educational context, working across both home and international markets. You will also pair this with additional experience of working in a target driven environment, creating, analysing and interpreting data and markets to produce relevant reports.

You will need excellent leadership skills, with experience of managing teams and the ability to motivate others towards clear objectives. Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills are also essential.

Should you have any questions about the role, please contact Charlotte Coleman, Director of College Administration Camberwell, Chelsea, Wimbledon / c.coleman@arts.ac.uk.

Should you have any questions about the application process or require reasonable adjustments for your application, please contact Christine Crouch, Resourcing Advisor / jobs.ccw@arts.ac.uk.
