Are you committed to fostering a student-centred learning environment? Join our friendly Library Services team at Central Saint Martins (CSM), part of University of the Arts London (UAL).

As an Assistant Learning Resources Manager – Digital, you will collaborate closely with the CSM Learning Resources Manager and another Assistant Manager. Your role will be pivotal in managing our busy library and learning zone, ensuring efficient operation of staff, space, and services. You will actively participate in local CSM college committees, contributing to the college's operational success.

You will play a key role in the cross-site Library Digital Group, enhancing our service-wide digital resources; this includes liaison with our IT department and with the college technical team to offer digital skills sessions for students.

Our library, located over three floors in a heritage building overlooking Granary Square near King’s Cross and St. Pancras stations, is a vibrant and popular hub for students and a fantastic location to work in.

Generally, the working pattern is 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday, with occasional extended hours until 18:15 during term time and vacation periods. Termly online weekend team meetings are also required. UAL Library Services adopts a hybrid working approach, balancing home and onsite work.

You should demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering an imaginative, student-focused service and an understanding of inclusion and diversity in library services. Proven experience in managing and motivating teams with a compassionate and collaborative approach is essential, along with proficiency in creative software and hardware.
