The opportunity
The Academic Consultancy Business Development Manager will work across the college and closely with our academic courses and staff to develop and oversee funded consultancy and contract research projects with external partners. The role will work to develop projects across a range of areas, from funding proposals and grant-based initiatives to private and third sector income sources.
The role is split across new business development and across effective programme and grant management of existing and new work.
About you
You will have experience of developing new business and income from a variety of sources, either through grant and trust and foundation or commercial income. You will have a track record of developing relationships and projects with input from a variety of internal and external sources. The role also requires strong project and programme management capabilities, and some experience in managing grants and providing reporting to funders.
