The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Head of College Office at London College of Fashion. The Head of College Office is responsible for both the leadership, direction, and day-to-day operations of the college and for delivering on a large cross-university thematic portfolio, this role is an opportunity to support in balancing these responsibilities and priorities.
The Executive Assistant to the Head of College Office will provide professional secretarial and administrative support to the Head of College/Pro Vice-Chancellor and Director of College Administration, including day-to-day management of diaries and overseeing office operations, systems, and processes, taking a proactive role in providing support to priority projects and organising internal and external stakeholder events.

About you
We are looking for a confident, experienced Executive Assistant, skilled at organising complex diaries, who will enjoy working within a purpose-led educational organisation that is agile, dynamic, both mission and results-driven, and community oriented. You will have the ability to exercise good judgment across a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple competing priorities.
The role will require you to manage key strategic relationships on behalf of the Pro Vice Chancellor/Head of College and Director of College Administration, so you will be a confident communicator; somebody who can build and maintain positive relationships, always acting as an ambassador for the office, and capable of managing expectations, communicating sensitive messages with diplomacy and tact, and dealing with confidential enquiries.
You will be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, juggling a multitude of tasks which will utilise your skills and experience in several areas including servicing committees, minute-taking, project administration, and event coordination. You must be a forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
Experience of using online tools for diary management is essential and you should be proficient in the use of Office365 including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Excel.
