Job description

The opportunity

University of the Arts London is looking for a Junior Finance Business Partner to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.


Key deliverables of the role will be:

  • Providing budget and forecasting support to key stakeholders.
  • Work with key stakeholders on monthly budget reporting and variance analysis.
  • Offering relevant and reliable financial and management information alongside customer focused support to budget holders and other stakeholders across the University.

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Undergraduate Qualification in relevant area, or equivalent working experience.
  • Excellent MS Office skills including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good knowledge of finance and management information needs.
  • An understanding of financial management controls and procedures.
  • Experience of financial planning, budget setting, forecasting, management accounts and variance analysis is desirable.
  • Experience of producing and explaining financial information and management accounts to tight deadlines is desirable.
  • Actively studying for a professional accounting qualification.
