The opportunity
London College of Fashion (LCF) is looking for a Specialist Technician Content Production to join our technical team on a full time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the delivery of teaching and learning activities, and to assist with the creation of online academic content for the College.
Joining our Learning Technology Support team, you will draw on your specialist skills and expertise to provide advice and guidance with high-end video production, audio production and post-production. You will help support student learning, including informal/formal training and instruction, helping students to become proficient with a range of highly specialist techniques, production methods and technology.
In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will also assist with the College's day-to-day academic and marketing needs. This will involve recording College events and assisting with additional video projects, working with your colleagues in the technical team and across UAL to develop creative and engaging academic online content.

About you
You will possess a degree level qualification in a relevant subject specialism, or will provide the equivalent experience in a video production or post-production area.
You will also need experience of:
- Handling and maintaining a broad range of digital filmmaking cameras, lighting, audio equipment, vision mixers, hardware encoders and a range of post-production software.
- Working to client briefs, meeting high commercial and HEI aesthetics and standards, in production and/or post-production.
- Carrying out risk assessments and keeping appropriate records with regard to equipment, stock lists, equipment and consumables, as well as the servicing and repair of equipment.
You will be capable of managing complex video projects effectively and will demonstrate a high level of skills, knowledge and experience in all areas of production/post-production, live event vision mixing, streaming and network broadcasting.
