The opportunity
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a new Specialist Technician Hair and Make-up role to join our hair and makeup department at the London College of Fashion. This role will expand the delivery of non-Eurocentric teaching in the hair and make-up department within the School of Media and Communication. You will bring your expertise in hair—with an emphasis on textured hair—and make-up to lead exciting and informative technical workshops and to provide guidance, advice and support to students working in hair and make-up practices.

About you
A degree or qualification relevant to the role or previous relevant experience.
Experience in delivering technical workshops.
Extensive knowledge of hair and make-up techniques, with an emphasis on textured hair.
Providing 1-2-1 support for hair and make-up.
Experience in hair colouring and hair cutting would be desirable but not essential.
Experience in barbering would be desirable but not essential.
Experience in hair and make-up for performance and film would be desirable but not essential.
